He married Iva Lee Kinsey 1932. (Iva Lee Kinsey #692.) Iva was born in MO 11/6/1913. She was the daughter of Walter Bert Kinsey and Lillian Ethel Mitchell. Iva died 5/23/1988 in Kirkwood, MO, at 74 years of age. Her body was interred 1988 in Campbell, MO, Woodlawn.

Velda was divorced from James Edward Hamm 1959.
