He married Cordelia Elizabeth Smith in McMinn, Tn, March 4, 1903. (Cordelia Elizabeth Smith #1851.) Cordelia was born in McMinn County, TN May 24, 1872. She was the daughter of James M. Smith and Jane Robinson. Cordelia died January 14, 1962 in Niota, McMinn County)TN, at 89 years of age. Her body was interred January 1, 1962 in Niota, TN (Niota Cemetery).
