He married Fannie Lee KINSEY in Walker Co., GA, August 19, 1900.(881) (Fannie Lee KINSEY #1516.) Fannie was born in Walker Co., GA March 12, 1882.⁽⁸⁸²⁾ She was the daughter of David Lorenzo KINSEY and Mary Catherine TUDOR. Fannie died January 18, 1968 at 85 years of age.⁽⁸⁸³⁾

John Henry SHIELDS and Fannie Lee KINSEY had the following children:
